Parents: Do you lack resources to teach your children in N(A) (normal academic) and N(T) (normal technical) stream?
Over the years of teaching, i have received many feedback about parents having difficulties trying to get resources for their children in N(A) and N(T). Recently, a tutor shared with me that he could only teach students in the Express stream because he could not find any useful materials that he could use in the local bookstores and he did not have sufficient ability to modify existing resources for his N(A) and N(T) students. This triggered me to write about it. As i am always busy with my students and also writing lesson content/activities and i could not spend much time maintaining this site, i have chosen to break this article into parts. I will be covering the following in the next few posts,
- What are the differences between N(T), N(A) and Express (in terms of content)?
- What are the materials that are available?
- How can parents help their children if there are limited resources?
- Where can additional learning resources be found?
- Do N(A) and N(T) students need tuition like the Express students?
